DANGEROUS PLIGHT.

A wireless telephone message to an aeroplane in mid-air saved the lives, of three members of the Air Force who' were unaware that their landing carriage was swinging loose under the fuselage.
Yu officer at the Weymouth aerodrome noticed the defect while the machine was passing overhead and wirelessed an order to come down in the sea, and he promptly arranged for naval motor boats to clear the area. They safely picked up the airmen and salvaged the airplane, which turned s* somersault when it touched .the water.
