The monthly meeting; of the Lanoiu Representation Committee was held m the i\V-E.A. rooms;, on. Practical iy every delegate spoke on the matter, and; as it .is a progressive scheme it is being looked to as a great stop in the right direction for Tnnaru. The s, matter of so much unemployment was also discussed, and the necessity urged on all unemployed men in Tiinaru to register their names at the Labour Department office at once, as the exact state of unemployment could not be got at unless it was clone. The secretary was instructed to wrile to the Town Clerk, urging the Borough Council to try and find work for sonic of those men who .have large families depen din g on then) .
