By Cable —Press Association—Copyright.

(Received 7.30 p.m., June 20.) LONDON, June 20

The “Daily Express” says that Mr Cochran, organiser of the rodeo, his legal adviser, and Tex Austin at a conference last night, decided to suspend the steer-roping contests, which had been held privately in Wembley Stadium, pending the summonses due for bearing on Tuesday. Mr Cochran said the public performances of rodeo would continue. It is admittedly a rough game, but genuine sport, played by men and women who count for a good deal in the development of the Empire.
