DIED AT HOME. By Telegraph-—Press Association. OAMARU, June 19. Jeannie widow, 55 years, a dairy farmer, was found dead at noon to-day in’ her house in Eden Street, where she lived by herself. TRAP COLLIDES WITH MOTOR CYCLE. . By Telegraph—Press Association. PUKEKOHE, June 19. A trap containing Alexander McRobbie collided last . night between Auckland and:Pukekoke with . - a motor cycle and side-chair. Wesley Kitson, aged about 20, on the cycle, suffered a compound fracture of the leg. Claude ;Webb (16), in the chair was bruised and unconscious. Mcßobbie was bruis ed and is suffering from shock. Webb and -Kitson were sent to hospital.
KILLED BY TRAIN.

An inquest touching the death of Walter Lester, a railway surfaceman, 'who was killed by a train near Ngahauranga last Friday, was held to-day. i Evidence was given that owing to tois terous weather the men were ir.tling for shelter when deceased was sin.ck by an engine. The driver stated that owing to the stormy conditions v isibility was had. He saw no one on tlie track. A verdict was returned that death was due to misadventure, no blame being attachable to the driver.
FOUND DEAD
By Telegraph—Press Association. ASHBURTON, June 19. • William Campbell Robertson (72), formerly a local flour-miller, was found dead in his house to-day. The cause of death is unknown, and an inquest will be held. YOUTH ELECTROCUTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 19. Jack Hannah, aged 18, was electrocuted at -Southbridgo to-day, _ while working on the roof of the National Mortgage Agency Company’s office. He received prompt medical attention, but attempts to preserve his life failed.
WANGANUI BUSINESS MAN DROWNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. WANGANUI, June 19. Mr H. V Duigan, manager of the Wanganui “Herald,” and one of the best known local men, lost his life in the flooded river to-night. In order to make his oil launch safe he put oil in a dinghy which capsized. Mr Duigan, who was an excellent swimmer,, had a foot caught in a rope, ;.nd was drowned. The body was recovered. Deceased was prominent in musical and dramatic circles, and was leader oi the Motor Launch Club. He was keen and enthusiastic generally in public affairs. He was well-known in Masonic circles, being a Past Master of Lodge Tongariro. News of his death caused widespread regret.
WHARF LABOURER INJURED. A wharf labourer named George Bentley was injured while at work on the cargo of the steamer West Nilus at No 3 wharf yesterday afternoon. Bentley became jammed in a truck by some of the cargo, and suffered bruises and abrasions about the feet and legs. He was attended Iv Dr. Ussher, and then taken to his home, as his injuries were not sufficiently severe to warrant his being sent to the hospital.
