FOUR PEAKS CI.UD, Last Wednesday night a trophy presented by Mr G " Burrows, junr., was shot for, the winner being T. Wooding. The challenge cup for the week was won by J. Quantock. Some of the highest scores were -J. Quantock .if, T. Wooding 34, G. Burrows 33, H. Mallinson 32, G. Knowles 31, A. Quan took 31, J. Wooding 31.
OTIPUA CLUB. At the Otipua Miniature Rifle Club s weekly shoot, J. Watson annexed Mi Scott's trophv with 69 off the ride. Tho highest scores off the rifle were. •—J. Watson 69, G. Caldwell 69, J. Hill 69, E. Underhill 68, N. Jackson 68, J. Tacon 66, W. J. Allen 66, R. Stewart 66, A. MeCleory 65, H. Underhill 66, L. Richards 63, B. Watson 63. On Tuesday next Mr Ron Mayo a trophy will be fired for. As the ‘ Her aid" Shield shooting will shortly coin mence, members are requested to get as much practice as possible. TEMUKA CLUB. Tho Temuka Miniature Rifle Cluh held their weekly shoot on Monday nmht, tho following being the highest scores off tho rifle :—T. Greehsh 79, J M- lZ e 70, 'l'. McAulilfe 69, C. i aimer 68 W. Carpontier 67, V. Golding 67, E.’ Smith 67, G. Geddes 67, A. Buzan 66, J. Cain 66, D. liorgan 66. In t.ho shoot-off J. Cain proved the -winnei with 68 off the rifle. There will be no shoot next Monday night, owing to alterations to hall.
