GERALDINE RACING CLUB
The committee of the Geraldine Racing Club met at the office of the secretary’ (Mr.-'J.' Kennedy). ihe programme for the race meeting September 25th and 26th, was drawn up. Stakes were increased in the two harness trotting events, making the total prize money offered, £2250. The following gentlemen were appointed a judical committee.—Messrs D. Macdonald, W. Quirk, G. Worner, A. South, and B. R. Macdonald. Other officials remain the same as last year. It was decided to build ten additional loose-boxes and quarters for trainers, pine timber to be purchased- and work done hy day labour. The secretary was instructed to call tenders for licensed booths Mr G. H. Bryant’s offer for luncheon booth was accepted. The committee decided to apply for an extra permit for an autumn meeting.
