Dennistoun; Mackenzie, Mr h. J. McGregor. The education Department wrote advising that an additional grant ot LIUOO bad been approved by way oi subsidy, making, with the . LIOOO al. ready ’granted, a Government contribution'of ,t2(IDO towards the cost of the Memorial Hall at the Boys’ High School. The Department also julnsed that expenditure on minor work in connection with the Boys’ High School had been approved out of endowment income, and the Public "Works Pepaitment had been asked to carry them out; also that the Public Works De partnrcnt had been requested to carry out the alterations at the Girls H'gb School.
