MONTHLY MEETING. The ordinary monthly meeting of the .Labour Party was held rn the W.E.A. room, on June 14th, Mr P. J.. ’ Kelly, presiuuig over a good attendance. ‘ j The report from the W.E.A. deleI gate was read and adopted. ! The L.R.C. delegate gave a report of work done during the month, which ; was mostly of a routine nature. Mr W. Tuttou was appointed divisional , area oincer for 1924. The L.R.C. also ; had the work of forming branches at Temuka, Geraldine, and Pareora in hand, and hoped to have good working organisations formed in tnose places . by next general election. The Labour Party was requested to j have membership tickets and literai lure for sale at all public meeting ol i the movement in future. It was decided that this branch I must pay more attention to the social side of the movement, and a committee of five— Messrs O’Brien, Snedden, I Kellv, Lang and Walker—were ap- . The attention of members was drawn to the new association now being formed in the West End.
