(Received June 15, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, June-13. .George Caipeutier has been matched with Jimmy Slattery,. of Buffalo, for a six-rounds match, for the light heavy-weight, at-Buffalo, August-.4th. . It stipulated that Carpentier -is to fight none other previously except Gene Tunney. “Billy” Gibson, manager for Tunney, announced a tentative arrangement with M. Desehampsp fdr* a fifteen rounds between Tunney and Carpentier in mid-July, in the open air stadium, at New York. Formal articles will be signed on Monday.
