INQUEST ON SAILOR VICTIM

At the inquest on the death of Albert Greenham, the fireman who lost bis life in the fire on the steamer City of Singapore, the Chief Inspector of explosives gavo evidence that lie had come to the conclusion that the fire tvas due to spontaneous combusion. The coal explosion was probably due to a mixture of coal gas and air.
