At the Supreme Court Donald DuGav, an elderly man, pleaded guilty to five charges of indecent acts with boys and was sentenced to 10 years hard labour His Honour said that prisoner had forfeited the right to live in decent society. .. . . William Shaw, formerly an official of a Labour Union, pleaded guilty to five charges of theft of moneys approximately £IOO, belonging to the Union. Ho was sentenced to reforma tire treatment for two years. His Honour said that when a man was put in a position of trust by his fellow men. he should endeavour to justify that trust.
PRISONERS SENTENCED;

At the Supreme Court William Norman 13ryce, charged with false pretences and attempted false pretences, was sentenced to six months’ imprison ment, to be served concurrently with the three months he is at present serving. John Alexander Fettics, for tho theft of moneys, was sent to gaol for one year.
Albert Geoffrey Maddock, charged with theft (as a servant), was given two years.
Albert Saunders, for the theft of moneys, was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment. George Smith, an habitual criminal, charged with theft and escaping from legal custody, was sentenced to two years’ and one year’s imprisonment, the sentences to be concurrent, and ho was again declared an habitual criminal.
