BRIGAND VENDETTA AGAINST MISSIONARIES. By Cable —Pres? Association—Copyright. (Received 7.30 p.m., June 11.) OTTAWA, June 11. Conditions are becoming increasingly serious in the Kwang Si province, China, where one missionary is known to have been killed, and several others in danger. According to word from Rev. Jeff ray, the Toronto missionary, received t>,» the Christian Missionary Alliance, Mr Jeffray was recently released by Chinese brigands. Definite confirmation that the Rev. Joseph Cunningham, ol Salem, Virginia, has been killed, was in a cablegram. Two mission aries—E. H. Carne of Australia and Res of the South Baptist Convention, are still being held for ransom. Six others are beseiged in Kwaeilin, be cause of the fighting between Kwangai and Kwangtung.
