SON ARRESTED.
ACCUSED OF MURDER OF MOTHER. By Cable—-Press Association —Copyright. Received 8.30 p.m.. June 11. LONDON, June 9. The “Daily Express” says that William Lawrie King, aged twentytwo years, was arrested at Edinburgh, in connection with the death of his mother, who is the wife of a prominent chartered accountant and vice-Moderator of the High Constables of Edinburgh, one of the most ancient bodies in Scotland. Mr and Mrs King, after the theatre on 30th May, had supper and became violently ill. Mr King recovered, but Mrs King died in agony during the night.
