Effect of American Policy* ORGANISING TRADE BOYCOTT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. TOKIO, June 10. Representatives of the lvikosha Society and an American organisation, principally composed of students, visited retail stores advocating the boycott of American goods. The majority -of managers agreed to the principle of the boycott. The manager of tho largest department store angered the students by declining to give a definite answer because a joint stock concern would be unable to pledge the shareholders. Several managers warned tho agitators of the danger of an American counter-boycott which Japan c-ould not afford.
