Reuter’s Telegrams. Received 5.50 p.m., June 9. NEW YORK, June S. According to a telegram from Philadelphia: “The North American,” in an article withheld from publication for fifteen months “in interest of science,” says: “The cause of cancer has been discovered, also treatment which, though still in the experimental stage is producing remarkable results. The discoverer is Dr T. J. Glover, a native of Toronto, who in an article says: It has been established scientifically that the disease is due to a microorganism, and he has isolated the germ and proved by conclusive laboratory test, known as Koch cycle, its part as a causative factor. Dr Glover conducted research work in New York for four years.
Dr. Glover is now making significant progress in perfecting his * methods of determining the presence of microorganism in blood, in order to deteot the disease in its incipient stage, thus affording greater possibility of a cure.
