SUDDEN DEATHS.
TWO YESTERDAY,
Yesterday two sudden deaths were reported to the police at Timafu. . Constable Mclntosh, of Fairlie, advised that David Itennie, a single man, 42 years of age. dropped dead in the hotel at Kimbell. ' The deceased had been rabbiting on the Dalgety,. range, and yesterday morning he complained of feeling unwell. In company, with a friend he set out for Fairlie to consut a doctor, and on reaching Kimbell, they called in at the hotel. They had not been in the house more than a minute when Mr Itennie dropped dead.. The deceased was a native of Waiinate. ' . The constable at Duntroon advised that Ernest Walker, aged' 39 years, died suddenly yesterday at Otekaike. The cause of death is believed to have been heart disease. ■ , : _ The Coroner has been advised, and It is probable tha,t an inquest will be held in each case.
