McClelland beat Harry Sinclair in the Amateur Golf Championship of New- South Wales, _ by a couple ci strokes. It was a keen battle throughout. TIMARU LADIES’ CLUB. The following is the draw for the first round of the president’s trophy to be played by June 23rd:— Miss Poppelwell v. Miss Cotterill; Mrs Bannerman v. Mrs Curtis; Mrs Oxford v. Miss L. Hay; Miss Anstey v. Miss M. Hay; -Miss Walton v. Miss Wilkin; Mis 3 Buchanan v. Mrs Webber. All the other players have drawn byes in the, first round. LINDSAY MEDAL. .
