The romance of a shop girl who is now legally recognised as a relation of royalty, culminated at the Court session at Edinburgh when Lord Mori son granted a declaration that Miss Constance Mary Lyon, shop assistant at Aberdeen, was the eldest lawful daughter of Hubert Ernest Bower-Lyon, nephew of the Earl ot Strathmore, which relationship makes Miss Lyon a second cousin of the Duchess of York.
