Lord Oliver explained that since the Economic Conference, the majority ef the Dominions had changed their minds regarding closing the exhibition galleries owing to the financial situation. It therefore had been decided to continue the galleries, to which Lord Cowdry had promised to contribute £SOO annually for five years.
