Railway Services Interrupted.

The strike of the railway shopmen developed rapidly during the night, and as a result, many tube services were considerably affected. To-day city workers have been much delayed. The underground companies of London officially stated that the train service is being maintained on all lines, but it has been necessary to close some of the least important stations iff Order to conservo power for the benefit 1 of the long distance passengers. As regards the Great Western Railway, only the shopmen are involved. The traffic hitherto has not been affected.
