Shaw, of Orton, Temuka, with a 10/20 McCormick-Deering Tractor. With this Tractor Mr Shaw has been deep ploughing 8 acres a day, using a 3-furrow plough, and he drills 35 acres a day with an ordinary 15 coulter drill. , Messrs Walker Bros., of Rocklands, Westport, have had. a 10/20 International Tractor, for nearly-4 years, and now write as under date Ist April, as follows: “We are in the thick of our work. It is very rough work that the Tractor has been doing, and I can see it is a good machine- In fact the best on the market. The engine is going beautifully. No trouble whatever. . , Mr J. T. Cunningham, Lime Hills, writes on 3rd April, as follows: _ “I am very pleased with the 10/20 McCormick-Deering Tractor I purchased from you som time ago. Last week, using a - f'urrow mould board plough, I ploughed 18 acres stubhta in 201 hours on a consumption of 26 gallons kerosene- I consider the tractor quite satisfactory in every way/ and much better and cheaper to work than horses.” MACHINERY DEPARTMENT.
