TIMARU, THURSDAY, MAY S. (Before Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M.) JUVENILE COURT. A hoy charged with cycling at night without a light was admonished and discharged. NO LIGHTS. Tho following, charged with riding cycles at night without lights, were convicted and lined 10s and costs:—J. B. Ballinger, T. J. Bone, R. C. Beck, A. AY. Ellis, W. Hertnon, S. Maepherson, R. Win. Mathicson, A. Thomson, J. G. Venning. S. G. Taylor. E. Fitzgerald and 0. D. Hillier were convicted and ordered to pay costs. W. Spense, charged with driving a motor-cycle without a light attached, was convicted and lined 10s and costs.

SPEEDING. Leonard McDuff, who did not appear, was charged with, riding through Pareora in a manner dangerous to the public. He was convicted and lined £5 and costs. A CROSSING MISHAP. Ho had no excuse for being at the hotel. Defendant ‘ was convicted and fined 2ps and costs.
