OBITUARY.
MICHAEL JOHN GODBY. The death occurred in London on FridayV last of Mr Michael John Godby, a former resident of Timaru and father of Mr M. H. Godby, of Christchurch.-. The late Mr Godbj arrived in New Zealand in the seventies, and practised in Timaru as a solicitor till 1887, but had resided m London for the past; twenty years. He was 74 years of age, and is survived by two sons and three daughtes: Mr M. H. Godby church), Flying Officer Robert Godby (Umbala, India), Mrs P. R. Croft (Ware, Hertfordshire), Mrs W. U. iSharrock (Lytham, Lancashire), and Miss Joan Godby (London).
