CRIME IN SYDNEY.
ATTEMPT TO SHOOT WIFE. HUSBAND’S STRANGE BEHAVIOUR. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. (Received 11.30 p.m., September 20.) SYDNEY, September 20. After previously serving a lengthy sentence for attempting to kill his wife, a man named Rolfe met her in tho street. He assaulted her, wounding her in the head. The woman was removed to hospital.. Next day Rolfo visited the hospital and fired five shots at his wifo lying in bed. The doctoi and hospital attendants, after a long chase, captured Rolfe. The woman is in a critical condition from wounds.
