W AIM ATE COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO RAISE A SPECIAL LOAN. IN PURSUANCE and Exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 9 of “The Local Bodies Loans ! Aet, 1913,” and the amendments thereof, and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, the Waimate County Council proposes to raise a Special Loan, particulars of which are as follows : (a) The. purpose for which such loan is required is the construction of I bridge works throughout the Wai- ) mate County. (b) It is proposed to borrow for the purpose aforesaid, the sum of eight thousand five hfindred pounds—(£Bsoo) —from the New . Zealand State Guaranteed Advances Office, (c) The proposed security to be a Special Annual Rate of one fortyeighth of a penny (1-48) in the £ on the Unimproved Value of all rateable property in the County of Waimate. The loan with interest at the rate of Five Pounds per Centum 5 per cent per annum to be repaid by half-yearly instalments of Three Pounds (£3) for each one hundred pounds (£100). of the loan, and extending over a period of thirty-six and one half (304) years.
