London, March 17. i A telegram from Genova states that Louis Borrat, a Frenchman, hearing that his divorced Avifo was about to remarry, visited her flat, hound and gagged her, cut off her hair close to the scalp, and then cut a cross on her chest. She was removed to the hospital. Borrat wvas arrested while endeavouring to cross the French frontier, after a severe struggle 'with the police.
