Two Free State soldiers, Kavanagh and Mageunis, were shot dead at Dublin. Irregulars raided Charlestown, C.ounty Mayo, wrecking most of the shops. Free State troops arriving, fighting ensued, wherein one Nationalist soldier, and one rebel were killed. Three rebels were captured. Whilst searching’ a steamer from Antwerp, special Thames police found and seized a number of revolvers and ammunition, d6' stined for Ireland. A man has been arrested. Theatres and cinemas in Dublin are closed in conformity with De Valera’s proclamation. The Government has ordered the re-open-ing.
