Mrs Milward, sister of the accused, Hannah Mitchell, gave evidence that she was at Mrs Mitchell’s home on the night the girl died. She saw the girl die and helped to convey her body to the gully. While in the girl’s room, she saw two medicine bottles with the name Miss -Goughian. "Witness added that later Airs Mitchell told her that she had given £3OO sterling to some men to remove the body from the gully, and that it had been put in a On another occasion Airs Mitc-hell told her that the body had been again removed, and that nobody would he able to identify it.
