THE POLICE’S FIRST CLUE

The police made tiio discovery of Miss Coughlau’s burial-place in ’ tho gully as a result of a statement "supplied by Frank Boniiglio, tho former husband of Hannah Mitchell, alias Boniiglio, in December last when ho was in hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, allegedly inflicted by Hannah Mitchell, during a 'quarrel. The police also secured evidence that the body was taken- to the gully by Bonfiglio and tho three accused women. They obtained a statement from Mins Milward admitting that she assisted in removing the body.
