FILM STAR DEAD.
MR WALLACE REID. By Cable—Press Association— r-Copyright. (Received 1 a.m., January 20.) SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 19. A Los Angeles telegram records fhe death of Mr Wallace Reid, film actor. Mr Wallace Reid’s death came following a relapse from a complication of diseases. He was weakened by overwork and, according to an announcement by Mrs Reid, lie used narcotics taken during a temporary illness. Mi Reid suffered a breakdown two months ago. Pneumonia set in; and when recovery was expected, hn intestinal ailment caused a relapse from which was was unable to recover. —A. , and JN./i. Gable.
