The totalisator turnover for the day was £6957, against £10,064 on the second day, last year. Results: — PAEROA HACK, of 70 sovs; 7 furlongs.—Westerner 1, Theic 2, Prince Imperial 3. The only starters. Won by three lengths. Time, lmin 31 l-ssec. HACK SCURRY, of 70 sovs; 5 furlongs.—Marcus 1, Moreau 2, Meremara 3. Six ran. Won. by a nose. Time, lmin 4sec. WAIKAREMOANA HACK, of 65 sovs; 6 furlongs.—Pakanga 1, Pitch 2, Poheke 3. The only starters. Won by a length. Time, lmin 17sec. CARROLL MEMORIAL, of 100 sovs; 1 mile. —Theic 1, Westerner 2, Sunny Spec 3. The only starters. Time, lmin 44 4-ssec. APPRENTICES’ HACK, of 70 sovs; 7 furlongs.—Prince Imperial 1, Stern Lady 2. The only starters. Won by ten lengths. Time, lmin 33sec. FLYING HACK, of 80 sovs; 6 furlongs.—Western Boom 1, Marcus 2, Pitch 3. Five ran. Won by four lengths. Time, lmin 16sec.. .
