THERE’S A REASON.
FOR THE SUPREMACY
OF BRITISH TYRES. British goods of every description have a world-wide reputation for quality. This prestige is partly the outcome of the thoroughness and attention to detail that characterises the British workman. But it is also due in part to tho high-grade materials used in the manufacture of British goods. A splendid example of a typical British product is tho Barnet Glass “Boomerang” Motor Tyre. Like all Barnet Glass tyres, there is one more ply of canvas in the “Boomerang” casing than there is in any foreign tyro of equal size, and the canvas is tested to 10001 b strain per squaro inch, as against the test of 4001 b or 6001 b applied to the canvas in foreign tyres. Moreover, the rubber used in the “Boomerang” is an eighth to a quarter of an inch thicker than cn other makers’ tyres, while the rubber itself is a pure wild fine hard para, over a dozen layers being used to each ply of canvas. Added to all of these features, the “Boomerang” is a noted non-skid tyre. The tread is so designed that it grips the road surface at any angle, and is wonderfully effective on all kinds of roads. These are the reasons, beyond a doubt, why the “Boomerang” and other Barnet Glass Tyres are so popular with motorists all over the Dominion. Barnet Glass Rubber Co., Ltd., Tyre and Rubber Goods Manufacturers (not merely Agents on Commission), Christchurch, AVellington, Auckland, Dunedin, Timaru, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Gisborne, and Greymouth.
