EARTHQUAKE.
PANIC IN LEGHORN. MANY PERSONS BURIED. By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. ROME, Aug. 2. A violent earthquake caused a panic in Leghorn, crowds evacuating the town. Other serious shocks were recorded in the Zunigina district. Damaged buildings collapsed in Bari, burying a number of persons.
