A meeting of the Temnka. Golf Club was held last Thursday, there being present, 'Or. Curtis (president), Mrs Ashwell, Misses Twomey and Aspinall, Messrs A. N. Hancock. A. R. Guild, and Pavies (lion, secretary). Jfc was decided to invite Geraldine players to a match on Saturday, September 4, at Temnka.
Improvements to the links were authorised.
The matter of arranging a, match with Waimate Ladies was left in the hands of the ladies' committee. Mrs Hastings and Mr W. J. Adains were elected members of the Club. The visit to New Zealand of "Mr Kirkwood (who is to represent Australia in the open championship at Home) was discussed,, but it was decided to take no action in regard to inviting him to Temnka:, on account of the cost.
