At the annual^meeting of the Incorporated Institute of Accountants ot ; iNew Zealand, Mr James Morrison, of Christeh&reh, was elected president, and Mr J. L. Arcus, of Wellington, vice-president. Tho accumulated funds of t'.ie institute amounted to £1134. Jt was decided to increase to £IOO fdr one year the subsidy to the University Colleges, at Auckland, Chrisccirireh, and Dunedin.
