. BALLARAT CONCERT PARTY.. Great interest is being shown in the approaching performance of "lume of tue Cabaret,-'• and juagng by the enquiries for seats the Jiay Hall iiJl be taxed to the uttermost. Every possible provision will be made tor the comfort of patrons, and the st-aga will be so constructed and enlarged that everyone will be ablo to ' comfortably see the performance. Extra l.g'.tmj; will be arranged, and this department will be in charge of an expert-, who will also manipulate the coloured light effects. The stage setting takes ilie form of a cabaret, and certainly nothing yet devised can equal this for the easo with which any variety turn can be introduced. The performance as never allowed to flag, nor is there room for much sentiment, comedy being the keynote, and this provides amusement which people seem to enjoy to the full. This performance will not be staged at the. bazaar, as there would not be time on account of tug-of-war contests, etc. The Ballarat Coiicert Party have worked exceedingly hard to make their tour a success and would be gratified to greet a. bumper house to crown their final performance, and thus enable the committee to hand over a substantial amount to the buid. Mr Fred Hyde .is the accompanist of the party, and he will be assisted by ail orchestra, linger Mr B. A. Pe T at-uir. Intending patrons are stro'iglv adviser! to make sure of their seatt by reserving at the Bristol, where" the plan is now on view.
