CHRISTCHXJRCH, August 18. At the Addington market there <vere big yardings of all classes of. stuck, particularly of tat sheep and store cattle. Values, in these showed an easing - compared with the pre-iN'ational sales.
Store Sheep.—A medium entry, including lines from outside .the province. Values were easier than of late, and a
num.bar of lines were passed. Wether hoggets, 22s 3d to 28s 2d, ewe do. to 3vjs &d, mixed* sex do. to 27s 6rt, culf do. IDs to 20s; fairly good 2 to S-teoth ewes in lamb 26s 2d to 39s 3d, sound and failing "mouth ewes 22s to 29s 3d; 6 and 8-tooth wethers 28s 7d to 37s

Extra prime steers £37, to £46 10s, prime £26 30s to £22 lOs, medium £lB to £26; prime heifers £lB 10s to £25 10s, medium £l2 to £!8; prim© cows £lB 10s to £2l 10s, ordinary £l2 to £l6 os, light and unfinished £9 7s 6d to £lO 10s. Pat Sheep.—-An overflow yarding, which graziers assisted to clear. Values ■were down about 5s to- vs per -bead, compared to pre-National sales. The close of the sale was firmer than the opening.
