The lack of success which has attended the Zingari team during the last few weeks is causing concern to members of the committee, and a special general meeting is called for Monday next to discuss matters of vital interest to the club. For many yearn Zingari was strongest of South Canterbury clubs both" numerically and in club spirit, but it is felt that the latter is waning—the teams are without coaches and practices are poorly attended—and there appears to be less enthusiasm than formerly on the part of old players and supporters. With a view to remedying these defects past members and present players (of all grades), as well as friends of the club, are urgently requested to attend the meeting, which is to be held at the Rowing Shed at 8 o'clock on Monday next.
