WELCOME HOME
AT ALBURY. A very pleasant social was held in the Albnry public hall to welcome homo Sergeant Anderson, Trooper Sullivan, and Corporal Caswsll. There was a very good attendance. At 10 o'clock si presentation of medals took place Sargeant Anderson nacl. Trooper Sullivan (Corporal Caswell being unavoidably absent) marched through the ball to 'oagpipo music supplied by Piper James McVoy.
Mr Rowland, in presenting the medals, extended to the soldiers a very hearty welcome, on hchlf of the residents" of the district., Mr Hogg senr. also .spoke at some length. The medals ware pinned on the soldier's coats by 'Misses I<2. Angland and Sullivan Sergeant Anderson and Trooper Sullivan suitably responded. After singing "For thcv are jolly good Fellows,"' dancing wa<s resumed to music bv the Albury Band. Extras were played bv Miss H. Anglrmd, Miss Clarke, and Mr and Mrs Campbell. The Ladies' Patriotic Committee supplied' an excellent supper.
