A wireless received states that N.C.4 has arrived at Lisbon. NO 4's OFFICIAL TIME. WASHINGTON, May 27. ■ It is officially' announced that the United States seaplane N.C. 4 left Ponta Delgada, Azores, at 6.12 in the morning, and arrived at Lisbon at 4.20 in the afternoon, Washington time. .
A LINE OF DESTROYERS. PONTA DELGADA (Azores) May 27. It is stated that sixty destroyers are stationed en route to Lisbon in the ievent of an.accident to N.C. 4. AERONAUTIC CONGRESS. NEW YORK. May 16. The "New York Times" Atlantic City correspondent states that the War Department has notified the officials of the Pan-German Aeronautic Congress that the British Government has been invited to conduct dirigible nights from Britain to the United States. An authentic report had been received saying that the British Government is speeding up plans to start a dirigible on her trans-Atlantio flight to the United States. The start might be made in a few days.
LOST BALLOON RECOVERED. Tht American dirigible, which broke loose from her moorings at St. John's and drifted seawards, has been recovered by a British steamer. THE AUSTRALIAN FLIGHT. (United Service.) ■ Received 1.30 a.m..,.May 29th. LONDON, May 24.
Lietuenants Kingsford, Smith, Yal Rendle, and Cyril Maddocks, Australians, flying a Blackburn-Kangaroo aeroplane fitted with two Rolls Royce engines, intend to start on Monday on a prise flight to Australia, via Turin, Brindisi, Alexandria, India, and Borneo. The journey is divided into twelve sections. The machine's capacity is twelve hundred miles.
