At the Chief Post Office, Timaru, subject to any necessary alterations, mails will close as under:— Tuesday, Slay 27th, at 12.45 p.m. For India and Ceylon, per Bhamo, from Wellington. .Wednesday, May '2Bth, at 12.45 p.m. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, also North and South America, per lonic, from Wellington. Correspondence must- be specially addressed. Saturday, May 31st. For Cook Islands, Tahiti, Samoa, Honolulu, Ponrhyn Island, United States of America, Canada, Central America, United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, via San Francisco, per (Moann) from Wellington. Money orders and registered letters 11.45 a.m. Books, packets, and newspapers 12.15 p.m., and ordinary letters at 12.45 p.m. JOHN J. PICKETT, Chief Postmaster. Timaru, May 27th, 1919.
