Fat cattle were practically without change, ,bui fat sheep and fat lambs again dropped in price, from 2s to 3a per head, there being very littlo competition for. expprt owing to space : in.' the works: getting scarce. Store sheep were easier by Is 6d to 2s per head, the continued dry weather and scarcity of feed seriously affecting the position regarding stock, both for immediate use and for the coming winter. Store cattle /Were dull of sale. Fat pigs. sold well, hut weaners were not much in demand. Store 1 sheep.—Best, 2-tooth ewes-27s to 27s 9d, others 21s to 26s sd, 4, 6 and 8-tooth.2ls 7d to 29s 8d; good 2tooth wethers 24s 9d to 275, 4 and 6tooth 23s 9d to 265; good mixed-, sex lambs 15s 3d to*. 16s, mediuli 13s 6a to 14s Id, cull lambs down tof'ss lambs 19s.
