THE PORT PIRIE MORDER. BUDD SENTENCED TO DEATH.,: ' Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. ADELAIDE, This Day. Budd has been found guilty of the murder of Jacques and sentenced to death. (A cablegram received from Adelaide on December 12 said: On November 22 a motor driven by Harold Jacques was engaged to driv% a man named Budd to Crystal Brook. Jacques'" body, with the head battered to' pulp, was found on Saturday, buried beneath hisown car on the premises at Port Pirie where Budd lodged. Budd's landlady stated that Budd dug a hole, stating that he intended clearing the undergear of the motor car, and lie subsequently: filled the hole.
