FIGHTING IN ALBANIA. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. LONDON, August 24. An Italian official message states:— In Albania the enemy renewed strong attacks 011 the lower Semoni to the heights and Mali Tornorriee, but was repulsed sanguinarily when connter-a,t-tacked. Near Getovia he slightly advanced. Northward of the head of Bavaliea and in the region of Point 1150 the enemy losses were heavy.

LONDON, August 24. An Eastern communique states:— There is active artillerying 011 the Serbian front. Enemy activity in Albania is revived. Their reconnaissances wore repulsed at various points. British aeroplanes, despite bad weather, bombed enemy depots in the Struma Valley. GREEK LEADER IN DANGER. ATHENS, August 24. M. Vemzelos, visiting the Salonika front, narrowly escaped death by shell- j fire.
