GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL.
ANNUAL BAZAAR. Beautiful weather favoured the opening or the annual bazaar ol the T<niai'u Ciirls' High fcjciiool ycsttrdiV, and consequently mere wjis a very large number of parents and fr-euds present. The bazaar was held in the gymnasium, where a number of stalls were oico-ed, each of wh.cli loaded with a variety of useful and oraanieutai articles which met with a ready safes by th.j w-lring purchasers. The stalls \>erc conducted by tho various Forms, and a lively competition was shown between t hi: rival stall holders. The blight array attracted many customers and the large stocks r«-.p?dly dwindled, with the best results for the funds concerned. A sweet stall was continuously besieged, and contributed a big percentage of the total takings. In one of the class rooms appetising afternoon tea was dispensed. In another room thero was a fine d : sp!ay of flowers and the visitors innd? many remark- on the excellent show. During the afternoon a number of pretty choruses were sung by the srtrls. These wore appreciated to tho'r full and were loudly applauded. The whole afternoon was verv successful and »\UI benefir- school funds coiif'i'.ciahlv. as a'l th<« stalls were- praei'cally cmpHcd.
