Miss Westmacost sang with appropriate . expression "Tho Floral Dance, ' and later on '•Sunrise and Sunset," which gave greater scope for the . deeper and oroader tones of lier pleasing voice. Miss May Hadcliffe was immensely successful with her , elocutionary items, i!i "Flora's Bit" and in her selections from "The Sentimental Bloke" she gave a very striking and effectivo oerlcrmance 'which pleased the l audience greatly. Atiss Amy Holdcate'a song "My Ships" was also well re-j ceived. Mr ; Wotherspoon, ' ivho has been of great assistance on many occasions at. concerts at St. Andrews, Was in good voice and gave pleasing renderings of "Chesapeake Bay" and •"Go to Sea;". Miss Flora Shaw, who: danced gracefully, hod to respond to an cnoore, and Miss Nifca Holdgate's violin solos were an enjoyable variation. Her rendering of "Valse _ Triste" (Sibelius) showed good ■ technique and interpretation. ■Mr . Crerar rang, swcetlv "Mary of Argyle" and. "I lcr.c v "of Two Bright Eyes.'/ Air Navlor, who is a prime favourite with young and old, gavo several of his humourous songs and monologues, and was recalled several times. Miss Robinson fulfilled the duties of accompanist in a sympathetic and artistic manner and contributed in no small degree to tho sncces3 of the various items. During the evening sweet# r.nd flowers were sold by. the Rod Cross assistants, Misses Margaret Ireland. Doris Kennard, Ray o'L.oughr lin, Rita Lavers, Elsie Dash and Monica Kane. Masters Frank Macdor,nM and Eric Coo sold programmes and Messrs Geo. Emery and W. Guilt fo. d jrnve their assistance a* door ''ttendants. The Rev. E. K.
