SOLDIERS FAREWELLED

ALBURY. , Last- Friday night in giving a sendoff socinl to a local soldier, Private Sam G-riuid, of Mt. Nessing, and a welcome home to Private Robert Findlay, ! che Albury people showed a very fine spirit. The gathering was held in\the Albury Hall, which was comfortably filled. Refreshments were supplied by theladies. The chair was occupied by Mr D. Angland, while Messrs W. Ross and Klee controlled proceeddings. Mr Ross acted as M.C., and music- was suppliedr by the Albury Band, under • the baton of Mr Hogg senr.
