He stated that it was not intended to issue the loan during the recess, unless something unforeseen happened. Already we had received considerable financial assistance from America, whence the Allies- had also received assistance. AFTER-WAR EMIGRATION. The Empire Settlement Committee Tecommend the appointment of a central board to control the emigration of ex-service men, consisting of a chairman who should devote his whole time to the subject, aiid the Home Government nominate five members and the overseas Dominions four, with an additional two representing the States of Australia and the provinces of Canada, and five unofficial members.
