AN ARMY IN DANGER. MACK ENS b 'S ATTACK. OF IMPORTANCE. Australian and A./. Cable Assn. and llouter. Received 2.30 p.m., Aug. 11th. LONDON, Aug. 10. Attention is drawn to the seriousness of Marshal von Mackensen's attack north of Foscani, owing to the strategical importance of this locality. The advance threatens an essential loop in the railway line connecting Roumania's main rail system with the system serving the Ron muni an army in the Upper Putna and Susitza valleys. If the link line is cut this army will he nil jeopardy.
