ANTI-RECRUITING. PROSECUTIONS PENDING. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. Received 0.5 a.m., August 11th. MELBOURNE, August 10. Prosecutions are pending against the President of the Trades Hall Council, and the mover and seconder of a recent anti-recruiting motion. LUXURIES PROHIBITED. Mr Jensen has announced that the importation of tire following luxuries will be prohibited .-—Spirituous liquors, table spirits, biscuits, confectionery, eggs, fur apparel, perfumery, jewellery, motor vehicles, and motor bodies.
